Phyllis R. McClees' Obituary
Mrs. Phyllis R. McClees, age 74, passed away Thursday morning, November 6, 2008. She was born November 18, 1933 in Owosso, MI to George and Ruth (McCaffery) Hurrell and had resided in Muskegon most of her life. Mrs. McClees worked for G.T.E. for 30 years before retiring in 1989. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Women of the Moose, and was a life member of the VFW Derezinski Post 7729 Women’s Auxiliary. On December 28, 1983 she married Gerald L. McClees, Sr. in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1987. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Denise (Willis) Lucas of Cleveland, TX, Kirk Bond of Muskegon; 6 granddaughters; 9 great-grandchildren; and her special caregiver and daughter-in-law, Dorothy Bond. She was also preceded in death by her parents. According to her wishes, there will be no services. MEMORIALS to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated. Arrangements by
