Priscilla McGee's Obituary
Priscilla “Cil” McGee, age 79, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020. She was born on March 2, 1941 to Benigno and Eva (Rivera) Vigil in Red Wing, CO. On July 1, 1961, Priscilla married Robert McGee and he preceded her in death on January 6, 1988 . She worked at American Coil Spring for over 50 years. Priscilla was a generous, compassionate, and self-less person. She always put others before herself. Priscilla had a deep faith in the Lord and her family knows that they will see her again. She loved the outdoors and to go exploring the backroads, taking in the natural beauty. She was also a great cook. Everyone especially loved her wild elderberry and choke cherry jams that she had scouted out and harvested. Most importantly, Priscilla loved the time spent with her family and she will be dearly missed by her children, Raynetta (Joachim “Jack”) Praest, Ryan (Sylvia) McGee and children, Noah and Naomi and Randy McGee and son, Austin McGee; sisters, Juanita Maes, Eunice Romero, Fran Gomez and Ellen Gomez; and special friend, Albert “Buck” Pernesky. Along with her husband, Priscilla was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ben Vigil, Efren Vigil and Aaron Vigil. A Time of Remembrance and Sharing will be held 11AM Tuesday, August 11 at Russ’ Restaurant (1499 E. River Rd., Muskegon 49445).
