Rachel Alberta Stine's Obituary
Rachel Alberta Stine, age 83, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2005 at a local hospital. Mrs. Stine was born September 5, 1922 to John and Viola (Lindsey) Beemer in Montcalm County. She married Lawrence “Pat” Stine and he preceded her in death in 1980. She worked as a housekeeper at University Park Nursing Center for 15 years. She had also been employed at National Fruit Company for many years. Rachel was an avid fisherwoman and enjoyed camping, crocheting and cake decorating. SURVIVORS include her longtime companion of the last 25 years, Jesse B. Pratt; 2 daughters, Kathy Lindsey and Sharon Bailey, both of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ellen Van Bennekon and Nancy (Ralph) Whitney; and several nieces and nephews. Rachel was also preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Mae. SERVICES for Mrs. Stine will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 14, 2005 at
