Mr. Ralph E. Williams Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Ralph E. Williams Jr., age 79, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018. He was born on April 11, 1938 to Ralph and Mary (Rhodes) Williams, Sr. in Muskegon. Ralph proudly served his country overseas in the United States Air Force. On September 24, 1982 he married the former Rosemary Andre and they spent 35 wonderful years together. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing stock cars and snowmobiles. He had formerly owned and operated the Bavarian Inn and Muskegon Roto-Rooter. Ralph founded and was former president of the Muskegon Steelheaders. Ralph led an active life in the community and served as past president for the Twin Lake Civic Association and Fruitport Eagles Aerie #3666, former officer of Holton American Legion, and was a member of White River Steelheaders, Lithuanian Club and Twin Lake Gun Club. Ralph also served as a Boy Scout Leader and charter boat captain. Ralph loved the time he spent with his friends and family and cherished his grandchildren. Ralph will be lovingly missed by his wife, Rosemary; children, Ralph (Karen) Williams III, Tracie Conners, Louis (Sara) Branch III, Carole (Troy) Geiger and Stephanie (Benjamin) Bevins; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Elaine (Robert) Spears and Kathy Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Zoe Branch. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 3 at 2PM at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., 231-759-8565 with Pastor David Gruber presiding. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service, from 1-2PM.
