He was born to Anne (Matula) Wiltse and Lloyd Wiltse.
He attended Handley Elementary, North Intermediate and Arthur Hill High School, graduating in 1951.
He was drafted into the US Army in 1954. He served with the 10th Ordinance Company in Giessen, Germany until 1956 as a requisition clerk.
He then attended Bay City Junior College, Central Michigan University. He was then offered a scholarship to attend Wayne State University and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Mathematics.

Ralph was a loving and kind grandfather. He leaves nine grandchildren and 8 (and one on the way) great-grandchildren.
Ralph was an avid golfer for many years. He enjoyed mathematics, especially teaching calculus. Ralph was also an excellent cook and enjoyed baking bread, cookies and carrot cake. His carrot cake was second to none.
There will be no service at Ralph’s request. Ralph did request that we have a celebration of his life to be held in one year on the anniversary of him starting the next phase of his life.
Professor Wiltse wishes you all a blessing by the Supreme Power who adores your life.
