Ralph L. Hathaway's Obituary
Ralph Lawrence Hathaway, age 83, passed away at his residence, Friday evening, October 21, 2011 following a long illness. He was born in Grannis, AK on October 15, 1928 the 3rd of 7 children to Ralph and Bertha (Fish) Hathaway. The family moved to Muskegon when Ralph was ten years old. Mr. Hathaway was employed at S.D. Warren for 40 years, retiring in 1993. He married the former Margaret V. Pearson on July 22, 1950 and she preceded him in death on March 7, 2006. He is survived by: five daughters, Linda (Terry) Keenan, Carol (Clyde) Goodwin, Kathy Moreno, Sandy (Paul) Moreno and Lisa Gallegos all of the Muskegon area; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; his brother, Allen (Joyce) Hathaway of Muskegon; two sisters, Charlyn (Ray) Averill of Muskegon and Bertha Longcore of Grant; and special friend, Elaine Pike. He was also preceded in death by his; parents; twin brother James and brother, Donald; a sister, Alice Clark; and granddaughter, Samantha.
