Ramona Rogalla's Obituary
Ramona Rogalla, age 64, passed into eternity on October 16, 2017. She was born August 23, 1953 in Muskegon to Ronace and Sigmund Zielinski. She is one of nine siblings (June Tselikai, Patricia Zielinski, Maria Beegle, Ronace Zielinski-Hogan, Jean Westhof, Sigmund Zielinski, Nedra Corrigan, and Mark Zielinski). Ramona graduated from Reeths-Puffer H.S. and went on to graduate from Western Michigan University with a degree in graphic design. She married Leonard Rogalla and had a daughter, Regina, and two sons, Thaddeus & Andrew. Ramona worked for several local businesses as a graphic designer, but is best remembered for her holiday window paintings, most notably the Mr. Quick restaurants. She ended her career working as a cook for a priory in Armada, MI. Ramona is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Sigmund; and her son, Andrew. Her son Thaddeus (Sonia), a speech-pathologist, resides in Sault Ste. Marie, and her daughter Gina Caauwe (Ryan) reside in Muskegon and they have a son, Nolan. VISITATION with the family will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100 with the Rosary prayed at 7:00 PM. THE FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated 9:00 AM Saturday morning, October 21, 2017 at St. Margaret Mary of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Allendale, MI (11358 Brown Ave., 49401). Burial to follow immediately after the Funeral Mass for those wishing to attend at East Dalton Oakhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be appreciated.
