Randal L. Taylor's Obituary
Randal “Randy” Lee Taylor, age 67, passed away in Muskegon, MI, on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Randy was born on July 27, 1956, in Muskegon, MI, to Charles and Corrine (Cooper) Taylor. In his youth he was a boy scout and he graduated from Fruitport High School in 1974. He worked as a tile setter at the family business, Taylor Tile and Ceramics, for over 50 years. On September 1, 1987, he married the former Kathie Radecki, and the two of them spent many wonderful years together. Randy enjoyed golfing, bowling, and cutting the grass, and he was a huge fan of University of Michigan Football. He was a handyman with a quick wit and a good sense of humor, and he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Randy will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kathie Taylor; two children: Kyle Taylor and Coty (Brett Freeland) Taylor; five grandchildren: Avery, Preslee, Rosebud, Kruz, and Kennedy; brother, Richard “Rick” (Kim) Taylor; siblings in-law: Bobbie Plichta, Dionne (Jeff) Oberlin, Ed (Adelfia) Radecki, and Doreen Taylor; uncle and aunt, Jim and Sue Taylor; cousin, John Cooper; close friend, Gary Meister; and many other friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Corrine Taylor; brother, Tim Taylor; brother in-law, Jerry Plichta; and cousin and golf partner, Donnie Christiansen. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be taking place for Randy at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI, 49444, with VISITATION taking place an hour prior. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to the American Heart Association.
