Randall Seifers Jr.'s Obituary
Randall Seifers, Jr., age 85, passed away Monday morning, December 6, 2021. He was born July 7, 1936 in West Branch, MI to Randall and Anne (Newald) Seifers. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served his country during the Korean War. On July 3, 1978, he married Sally Ann Williams-Archer in Muskegon. Randy worked as a letter carrier for the United States Post Office for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 1991. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion, the Lakeside Vets Club, and the Muskegon Eagles Aerie 668. Randy loved to hunt, fish, camp, and travel, and for many years enjoyed wintering in Florida. SURVIVORS include his wife, Sally; 2 children: Pam (Mike) Bergey of Muskegon and Mike (Heather) Seifers of Ravenna; 2 step-sons: Ed Archer of Spring Lake and David Archer of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren: Kimmy (Jason Pugh) Hackney, Adam Hackney, Samantha (Cody) Wilburn, and Jessica Sherry; 6 step-grandchildren: Maxx Archer, Elle Archer, Will (Courtney) Ferris, Lauren (Grant) Hazard, Lauren (Kevin) Johnson, and Patrick Ferris; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Peggy (Coke) Billinghurst and Carol Burgess; son-in-law, Randy (Beth) Ferris; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-daughter, Amy Ferris; and a sister, Beverly Baker. SERVICES for Randy will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 11, 2021 at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441 (231) 759-8565 with Rev. David Selleck officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials to the Paralyzed Veterans of America National Processing Center, P.O.
