Randy J. Archer's Obituary
Mr. Randy J. Archer, age 65, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. He was born on April 2, 1952 in Muskegon to Darrel and Venita (Rollins) Archer, and resided here his entire life.
Randy served his county in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked for Quality Tool for many years before retiring in 2014. Randy enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was known to be able to make anything including wine.
On June 2, 1973, he married the former Mary Garcia, and she survives him along with two children, Lorri (Robert) Dean, and Jenni (Joe) Farr; four grandchildren: Thunder and Amber Dean and Griffin and Salencia Farr; three brothers: Allen Archer, David (Monica) Archer, and Kevin (Lisa) Archer; and one sister, Deb Archer. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Darrel and Venita; his sister, Lori Lynn Archer.
A Memorial Gathering will be 12:00 Noon – 3:00 PM Sunday, September 17, 2017 at The Lee Chapel Family Center (6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100). Military honors will take place at 12:30 PM.
