Randy L. Shafer's Obituary
Mr. Randy Lee Shafer, age 43, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 2, 2011. He was born August 4, 1968 in Muskegon to Thomas and Carol (Jonio) Shafer. Randy was a 1987 graduate of Muskegon High School. He worked for Vitran Express for 6 years and had worked many years in the family business, Shafer Trailer Sales. Randy enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing. On December 13, 1996 he married Christina M. Morgan in Muskegon and she survives him along with 2 children, Sarah and Alan Shafer; 2 step-children, Nacole and Kyle Rieger; and his sister, Jaime Shafer of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his parents. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Memorial Trust for Sarah A. Shafer and Alan T. Shafer.
