Ransom "Bruce" Sabin's Obituary
Mr. Ransom “Bruce” Sabin, age 70, passed away at home unexpectedly Tuesday, November 23, 2010. He was born on February 20, 1940 to Ransom “Neil” and Mildred Agnes (Johnson) Sabin. Mr. Sabin worked for General Dynamics as a senior estimator until his retirement in 2001. He was a long-time Muskegon Big Red fan and always enjoyed his time watching his grandchildren play sports. Mr. Sabin also enjoyed going out to lunch with his friends. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Tammy (Dennis) Sabin Tibbetts of New Hampshire and Scott (Lisa) Sabin of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Brooklyn, McKenzie, and Ransom “Colby” Sabin and Lucy Tibbetts; brother, Dennis (Leslie) Sabin; and sister, Bonnie (John) Starr. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 3:00 PM Saturday, November 27, 2010 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Rev. Dennis L. Lassanske officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday. MEMORIALS to Trinity Lutheran Church would be appreciated. Burial will take place at Mona View Cemetery.
