Ray R. Olson's Obituary
Mr. Ray R. Olson, age 65, died Thursday, October 1, 2015 in Muskegon. He was born on March 7, 1950 in Muskegon to Robert and Agnes (Young) Olson, and resided in the Muskegon area all of his life. Ray was a graduate of Western Michigan University, and he owned and operated several restaurants in the Muskegon area. He was an avid sailor for many years, and Ray enjoyed spending time with family at the cabin on the Betsie River up north. Participating in family functions was always an important part of Ray’s life. SURVIVORS include 2 brothers, Brian (Christina) Olson and Donn (Lois) Olson; and many nieces and nephews. Ray was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Lynn Olson. A MEMORIAL GATHERING will be 11AM Tuesday, October 6 at The Lee Chapel Family Center, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100).
