Raymond "Dale" Hippler's Obituary
Raymond “Dale” Hippler, age 64, passed away at home Saturday, June 15, 2019. He was born August 15, 1954 in Tawas City, MI to Raymond and Nina (Thompson) Hippler. Dale was a graduate of Fruitport High school. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army; he served during the Vietnam War. Soon after, he moved to West Michigan and became a lifelong resident. Dale worked as a welder for many years, but he was a man of various trades including maintenance and fabrication. Dale was a devoted church member of the Wright Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Coopersville. He enjoyed church outings, camping, and gardening, but above all things he loved to fish and hunt at the north branch of the White River. He will truly be missed by many. He is survived by his two children; Josh (Jackie) Hippler and Jami (Troy) Barnes; 6 grandchildren, Autumn Egeler, Kyleigh Barnes, Aiden Barnes, Justin (Adrianna) Verschueren, Spencer (Rebecca) Verschueren, and Jeremy Genson; 4 great-grandchildren, Pnelopi, Rylee, Ivy, and Evan; brothers, Clyde Sparks; sister, May (Larry) Clute; son-in-law, Matthew Scott; and 2 sisters-in-law, Fran Sparks and Jeannie Hippler. He was preceded in death by his parents; Ray and Nina Hippler, daughter; Delia Scott; 2 brothers, Art Sparks and Fred Hippler; and sister-in-law, Minnie Sparks. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Wright Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 16429 40th Ave., Coopersville, MI 49404 with Pastor Bernie Andersen officiating.
