Raymond J. LaCrosse's Obituary
Raymond J. LaCrosse, age 72, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, March 11, 2021. He was born September 11, 1948 in Traverse City, MI to Clement and Florence (Prevost) LaCrosse. Ray was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served 2 years in Vietnam. On February 8, 1969, he married the former Patricia Ann Dunning in Muskegon. He had worked for Westran for 12 years and Herman Miller for 22 years prior to his retirement in 2009. Ray was an avid golfer and had attained the elusive hole-in-one. He enjoyed feeding and watching the birds in his backyard. He also loved working on his lawn and landscaping and tinkering for hours in his shed. Ray is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia; 2 children: Michelle (Keith) Haagsma of Spring Lake and Brian LaCrosse of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren: Brandon LaCrosse, Kaitlyn LaCrosse, and Matthew Haagsma; brother, Ronald (Sharon) LaCrosse of Twin Lake; niece and nephew: Stacy LaCrosse and Kevin (Kelly) LaCrosse; and a great-nephew, Grady LaCrosse. He was preceded in death by his parents. Private family services will be held for Ray. MEMORIALS to American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
