Raymond Stillson's Obituary
Raymond Stillson, age 76, of Spring Lake passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at his home. He was born March 8, 1936, in Grand Haven to Owen and Mable (Bray) Stillson. Raymond married the former Bonnie Graham on December 15, 1962 in Grand Haven.
Raymond was a lifelong resident of the area. He was employed at Anderson Bolling in the maintenance department. Ray was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed camping, yardwork, and cooking pancakes over a fire.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Bonnie; 2 daughters, Connie Bates of Plymouth, MI and Christine “Tina” Lozen of Lincoln Park, MI; 3 sons: Roger Stillson of Rockford, MI, William (Maria) Stillson of West Olive, and Howard (Teresa) Stillson of Fruitport; several grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Carol Davis of Skanee, MI and Barbara (Don) Davis of Grand Haven; 2 brothers, Ronald (Diane) Stillson of Grand Haven and Richard (Maryann) Stillson of Freesoil, MI. Raymond was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Robert, Kenneth, and Larry.
A Service for Raymond will be held 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. Jerald Poehl officiating. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service from 1-2 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Robinson Township Cemetery.
