Mr. Raymond Gailen Talley's Obituary
Mr. Raymond Gailen Talley, age 75, passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 in Muskegon. He was born in Corpus Christi, TX on October 7, 1937 to George and Thelma (Green) Talley. He had been employed as a certified welder at Tosco Oil Refinery in California before his retirement. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served in the Korean War. As of 2006, Raymond relocated from New Mexico to Muskegon. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association. Mr. Talley is survived by 2 sons, Chris Talley and Jason (Wendy) Talley; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; 4 brothers, Rich (Edna) Talley, Dan (Barbara) Talley, Tim Talley, and George Talley; 5 sisters, Patricia (Rod) Short, Cathy (Brian) Azevedo, Sally (Jim) Carter, Janice (Wayne) Bowman, and Regina Martinez; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 21, 2012 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210 with Rev. John Brown officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. BURIAL will take place in Fort Custer National Cemetery.
