Raymond T. Vaughan's Obituary
Raymond T. Vaughan, age 85, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus, on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. He was born on July 21, 1932 to Rood and Corabell (Dove) Vaughan in Muskegon. Ray spent over 30 years as a Journeyman Millwright throughout his work career. He was a very mechanical person, who loved motorcycles. He was a faithful man who spent much time praying for his friends and family. He will be missed by his children, Helen (John) McCabe, Tracy Davis, Anna Vaughan, Rood (JoAnn) Vaughan; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; faithful companion, Max; and close friend, Rachael. He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse, Ethel Vaughan; children, Marketa Patterson, David Ray “Ricky,” Raymond Tracy; and several brothers and sisters. VISITATION with the family will take place on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100) from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A FUNERAL SERVICE will take place on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the funeral home at 11:00 AM with visitation an hour prior to services. Burial will take place in Seaman Cemetery.
