Raymond R. Miller, Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Raymond R. Miller, Sr., age 77, died Monday morning May 24, 2004. He was born February 8, 1927 in Muskegon to Ray and Ora Belle (Derby) Miller, and had been a life resident. Mr. Miller was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, serving from 1944-1946. He worked for Sears Roebuck and Company for 10 years before his retirement in 1978. Mr. Miller had attended Orchard View Congregational Church, was a member of AARP, and enjoyed traveling. On December 31, 1959, he married Louise D. Bour in Muskegon, and she preceded him in death on October 3, 2000. SURVIVORS include 5 children, Michael (Sheri) Miller of Muskegon, Milenda (Robert) White of Suffolk, VA, Sharion Barhitte of Port Huron, MI, David (Sharen) Miller of Muskegon, Raymond (Judy) Miller, Jr. of Grand Haven, MI; 2 step-children, Thomas (Sandra) McKee of Muskegon, Douglas (Kathleen) McKee of Fruitport; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his brother, Richard (Patricia) Miller of Muskegon. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and his brother-in-law, Jack Barhitte. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Thursday at
