Rebecca "Becki" R. Kelly's Obituary
Rebecca “Becki” Kelly, born August 25, 1966, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 13, 2023 at the age of 56. Becki worked as a Family Court Administrative Assistant for Muskegon County. She loved her work and spending time with her “second family” during and after work hours. Becki impacted so many lives around her. Her infectious laugh and zest for going on adventures was well-known. Becki enjoyed traveling, cardio-drumming, going to the casinos, “Fun-Fridays,” and bowling on a wine league at Sherman Bowling Center. These experiences were made even better with all of Becki’s favorite people, including her friends, family, and co-workers. Becki’s greatest accomplishment was being a mom to her son, Adam. She loved him and the rest of her family dearly. Throughout Becki’s difficult journey this year she maintained her positive attitude and lived by the motto, “Take the Trip, Buy the Shoes, Eat the Cake.” Becki has been met in Heaven by her mother, Carolyn Deneen. Becki will be missed by her son, Adam Kelly (Anakah Williams); siblings, Kim (Garry) Sparks, Lori Deneen, and Kirk (Tracy) Deneen; beloved nieces and nephews, Tyler Sparks, Colin Sparks (Katelyn Jelinek), Conner Deneen (Emily Sherburn), Carlee Deneen; Brendan Deneen and Jaxon Deneen; great-nephew, Karson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her father, Lynn Deneen. Visitation will take place Monday, April 17 from 5:00 – 8:00PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00PM, Tuesday, April 18 at the funeral home. Please feel free to visit the family’s online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com.
