Rebecca Ruth Bleyaert's Obituary
Mrs. Rebecca Ruth Bleyaert, age 93, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 in Spring Lake, Michigan. She was born in Flint, Michigan on February 18, 1925 to Rev. Edward and Alma (Wiggs) Ferguson. Rebecca had been a teacher at Moon and Nelson Elementary Schools prior to her retirement in 1991. On July 1, 1963, Rebecca married Ira Bleyaert in Vicksburg, Michigan and he survives her along with three children, Gerald (Connie) Wing, Susan (Dr. John) Cress, and Jeanne (David) Back; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. SERVICES will be held at 12 Noon, Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Spring Lake Cemetery. Memorials in Rebecca’s name may be directed to Muskegon County Library for the Blind.
