Rebecca Ann Johnson's Obituary
Rebecca Ann Johnson, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at the Poppen Residence. She was born on August 16, 1938, to Ruel and Edith (McGruder) Lofton in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Rebecca will be fondly remembered for her “green thumb.” From her home to her work, putting together lavish floral displays was a passion for her. Rebecca was a devoted and caring wife, mother, and grandmother for her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Merle Johnson; children, Donald Mark Johnson, David Lee Johnson, Julie Ann (John) Baedke; grandchildren, Jessica Dee Johnson, Joshua David (Jennifer) Johnson; great grandchildren, Easton Geronimo Johnson; and dear friend, Helen Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Peggy Burns. Rebecca will be laid to rest in Fruitport Pine Hill Cemetery.
