Rebecca "Beckie" Sue Nicosia's Obituary
Rebecca “Beckie” Sue Nicosia, age 54, of Grand Haven passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at home. She was born February 7, 1959, in Carson City, MI to Robert Earl and Gloria Patricia (Fillmore) Kilchermann.
Beckie worked at C K Motorsports in sales and marketing in the high performance boating industry with her fiancé. Beckie also played a key role and was well known all over the country as the Team Manager of the Cat Can Do powerboat racing team helping raise several checkered flags nationally across the country. Beckie loved power boating and going 170 mph, and “sun worshipping”. She loved dancing and taught at Diane’s School of Dance and she loved the little ones. She also loved her hockey family and had a great passion for hockey, around the rinks she was known as “Mama Beck” to a lot of young men in our community. But most of all she loved her family and friends and was always putting others a head of herself.
Beckie is lovingly remembered by her fiancé, Keith Holmes of Grand Haven; her daughter, Ashley (Ryan Stuart) Nicosia of Chicago; two sons, Rocco and Bodhi Nicosia of Grand Haven; mother-in-law to be, Carol Holmes of Newmarket, Ontario; and brother, Bob Kilchermann of Tampa, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, James “Jim” Kilchermann.
