Rebecca S. Valk's Obituary
Rebecca S. Valk, age 56, of Muskegon, Michigan, lost her long-fought battle with lymphoma on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. She was born on December 7, 1964 to Helen and Richard Kelley in Muskegon. Rebecca was a graduate of Mona Shores High School and had been a life resident of the area. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and two grandbabies, Mason and Sophia. She enjoyed playing at the park with her grandkids and enjoyed spending time with her family on their boat. People who knew her always said that she was warm and welcoming and made them feel like part of the family. She is survived by her husband, John; two children, Tyler Valk and Mary Elizabeth (Dominic) Mcfee; and two grandchildren, Mason and Sophia McFee. A CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE will be held from 2-5 PM Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the Holiday Inn, Spring Lake (940 W. Savidge St., Spring Lake, MI 49456). Memorial contributions in her memory may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
