Regina Ann Gerling's Obituary
Mrs. Regina Ann Gerling, age 76, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away early Monday morning, May 11, 2009. She was born May 9, 1933 in Ionia, MI to Charles and Leona (Meyers) Sniff. Mrs. Gerling worked as a beautician and real estate investor. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, ceramics, and knitting. Grandma loved family activities and spending time with her grandchildren. SURVIVORS include her son, David (Sheryl) Gerling of Spring Lake and her daughter, Jessica (Bob) Dykema of Twin Lake; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie and Audra Gerling, Jenna and Emma Dykema; brother, Reugine Sniff; 1 sister, Genevieve Blanchette; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Marcia Garrigan, Joan Joneson, Catherine Parker, and her faithful Yorkie companion, “Peanut”. She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Mark Edward in 1965, Gina Marie in 1966; former husband, Marshall Gerling in 1981; 2 sisters, Luvine Moreen and Vesta Harriger. The family would like to thank Senior Resources for the support and care Regina received by them during the last few years to maintain her independence at home. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Thursday at
