Rene Louise White's Obituary
Rene Louise White, age 45, passed away on April 12, 2026, in Muskegon, Michigan. Rene was born on December 30, 1980, to Steven Zeedyk and Laura Bailey in Grand Haven, Michigan. She attended Fruitport High School, graduating in 1999. On July 17, 2004, Rene married Brandon White in Fruitport, Michigan.
Rene had a presence that could light up a room. She had a special way of making others feel important and at ease around her. She loved music and especially enjoyed Michael Jackson, Jewel, and The Eagles. Rene enjoyed movies, which she could quote endlessly, and reality TV, which she bonded with her sister, Danielle, over. Rene had a special sweet spot for her “Fur Babies,” whom she loved to spoil. Even when she was dealing with her own illness and struggles, Rene was selfless and always supportive of her friends and family.
Rene will be missed by her husband, Brandon White; daughter, Lillian White; parents, Steven (Chris) Zeedyk and Laura (Steve) Bailey; sister, Danielle Japenga; stepsiblings, Joshua (Rachel) Glavich, Chasity Powers, Brett (Courtney) Glavich, and Joel Seaman; grandmother, Mary Jane Rogers; mother-in-law, Brenda Smith; lifelong best friend, Jen Weesies; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Rene is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ken Smith, and brother-in-law, David Japenga.
