Renita L. Moser's Obituary
Renita L. Moser, age 56, the former Renita Pridgen, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Wednesday, May 8, 2019. Renita’s life was made short due to her long battle with muscular dystrophy. She was the daughter of Rebecca Summers-Bailey and was born June 14, 1962 in Greensboro, NC. She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Pridgen; brothers: David and Eddie Wayne Pridgen; and grandparents: Evelyn and Hugh Summers. On July 12, 1980, she married the love of her life, James I. Moser. They began their life together in Cherry Point, NC while James was in the Marine Corp. They have one son, Joshua Moser, who was Renita’s pride and joy. Renita loved to cook, play cards, watch movies, and had the gift of hospitality. She enjoyed keeping up with all her nieces and nephews and what was happening in their lives. SURVIVORS include her husband, James Moser; son, Joshua Moser; mother, Rebecca (Ronnie) Bailey; brothers: Wayne (Darleen) Pridgen, Sammy Pridgen, Marty (Donna) Pridgen; sister, Penny Fanning; and many nieces and nephews. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Fifth Reformed Church (2330 Holton Rd.) with Pastor Scott VanArendonk officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or Fifth Reformed Church.
