Please accept my sympathy in the passing of Earl. Earl's mom was my moms cousin Geneva. My mom being Nathalie Piersma. Whenever I go to water the cemetery flowers of my grandmother, Delia Romeyn Cloud, i also water the flowers of Geneva Kragt. I remember going to Geneva's house on Waverly Ave in Holland when I was a little girl.

I am David and Mary Greene's eldest child. I was powerfully influenced by Rev. Kragt's ministry at Hope Reformed in Grand Haven during the early years of my childhood. The passion with which he presented the Gospel, his kindness and approach-ability and especially his heart for the mission of God to call all people and nations to salvation in Christ effected me profoundly. My memories are very vivid. He played a big part in my own calling. I too graduated from Western Seminary and was ordained in the RCA. I am a Youth Pastor and I am currently back at Western pursuing my doctorate in ministry in the area of mission and its impact on the formation of adolescents for life long service to the Kingdom of God. I do not grieve Earl's passing, because I know he is where he has always looked forward to being...where we will all one day be together in completeness...in the presence of our Lord. My prayers are with you as his family during this time of temporary separation. The peace of our Lord be with you.
