Richard J. Beishuizen Sr.'s Obituary
Richard J. Beishuizen, Sr. age 92, passed away Saturday morning, August 11, 2018. He was born August 26, 1925 in Chicago, IL to Thomas and Fannie (VanRyn) Beishuizen. Richard was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran and had worked for Viking Foods for 25 years prior to retiring in 1987. On November 23, 1946 he married Doris A. Meyers in Muskegon. He was a former member of East Muskegon Christian Reformed Church and most recently had attended Hope Reformed Church. He enjoyed camping at Silver Lake with family and also traveling around the country with Doris. SURVIVORS include his wife, Doris; 4 children: Judith (Corwin) Tromp of Las Vegas, NV, Donald (Mary) Beishuizen, Richard J. (Susan) Beishuizen, Jr., Joni (Rudy) Veeneman all of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Tom (Cele) Beishuizen of Indiana; sister, Anne Schut of Illinois; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Beishuizen. According to his wishes, there will be no services. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIALS to the Lake Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will be appreciated.
