What a great man.I have worked in and around Gran Haven in the Automotive field since 1978.I new Dick since then.Bot before that,our paths crossed in 1973 I had just gotten my first car,a beater,and had an early Sunday mornind Grand Raoids Press motor route in Spring Lake ,Fruitport,Ferrysburg,and Grand Haven.I drove by his house on my route.Early one morning,probably around 2am my car quit moving.The gear shift had come apart,right in front of Dicks home.I went to the door to see if I coiuld borrow his phone.He asked what the problem was,and offered to help me instead.He grabbed tools and had me back on the road in about 30min.I asked him what I owed him,but he refused to take payment and simply said he was glad to help.I reminded him of this in later years and he didn't want to make a big deal of it.That was Dick!! I never forgot that act of kindess.RIP Dick Ken Mulder Grand Haven
