Richard James Carefelle's Obituary
Richard James Carefelle age 63, of Muskegon, MI died Friday, December 14, 2018 unexpectedly at home.
Richard was born on September 25, 1955 in Muskegon, MI to Ronald and Helen (Allen) Carefelle. He was a proud member of Local 174 Pipefitters. He was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt, to fish, and to share those passions. He loved spending time with his large family and many longtime friends. He felt great love and respect for Angela Denise Gunn, with whom he built and cared for his family.Richard is survived by his Mother: Helen Carefelle of Muskegon, 3 Sons: Matthew (Kristen) Carefelle of N. Muskegon, Adam (Tracy) Carefelle of Norton Shores, and Trevor Carefelle of Muskegon, 13 Grandchildren, 3 Brothers: Robert (Pamela) Carefelle of Canton, MI, Ronald Carefelle of Lake Odessa, and David (Robin) Carefelle of Lake Odessa. Several nieces and nephews also survive. His sons feel a special gratitude for longtime family friend Joseph Erb, without whom Rick could not have enjoyed the independence he so cherished in his last years of life.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, North Muskegon @ 11:00am.
