Rick was the quite one in a crowd. Once you got to know him you saw a kind, caring and loving person. Occasionally he would catch you off guard with a funny line or quick witty statement.
I am grateful to have had some fun times with Rick in Marathon Keys, Boyne Mountain, and boating adventures on Lake Michigan. He loved the water and looked at peace when I caught him staring at it
I can see Rick's warm eyes and smile in my mind and that's how I will always remember him.
