My mom told me this a long time ago. I was just a baby and Aunt Alyce and Dick (before he was my uncle) would babysit me. Aunt Alyce said she should probably marry him because I liked him so much ! And always did. Love and hugs to my McLaughlin cousins and Aunt Alyce.
I was very fond of my Uncle Dick. He told good stories and he always made you feel like you were part of his conversation. I had forgotten about the poems he wrote until I read about them in his obituary. I know I received one once so I'll have to go back through old letters to see if I still have one of his poems.
