In John 11:25, Jesus says "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." Richard W. Doctor, of Norton Shores, MI, was brought into the world on March 11, 1947 by a Loving Hand and was escorted from this world on September 2, 2017 by the same Loving Hand. Delighting in his memory and mourning his absence are his wife, Paulina (Paula) VanderSluis Doctor; daughters and sons-in-law Saskia & Dean Kendziera and Molly & Matt Henry; grandchildren, Frankie, Molly, Susannah & Thomas Kendziera and Sylvie & Jude Henry; mother-in-law, Marcia VanderSluis; sisters, Jan Dobb (& the late Larry) and Ginger Blackwell (& the late Dave Roe); brothers, Jerry (Judith) Doctor and Stan Doctor; sister-in-law, Jackie (Barry) Larson; and brother-in-law, Lane (Judith) VanderSluis. A service for Richard will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Forest Park Covenant Church, 3815 Henry St., Muskegon, MI. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to the Muskegon Rescue Mission.
