Sandy Lacey
I've waited awhile to post because I wasn't 100% sure what to say. How do you summarize a half a lifetime of memories into a small post? Uncle Ric was by far the smartest person to date I've met in my life and outside of my father he was one of the most influencial men in my childhood.
Aunt Julie - You have my deepest condolences, and all the love from me and my family to help you through this difficult time, I hope that you will lean on your family and Jehovah to help lessen the burden your heart currently carries. As 1 Peter 5:7 says "while you throw all your anxiety on him because he cares for you" and Pslams 61:2 & 3 "From the ends of the earth I will cry out to you when my heart is in despair. Lead me onto a rock that is higher than I am. (3) For you are my refuge". Take refuge in your beliefs and your family on this day and the days to come.
Caryn - I am sending you a lot of love today and for each day in the future, losing a father is not an easy burden to bear. Rejoice in every day you are able to spend with the rest of your family, with your husband and child(ren) also. Your father was a good man, and as such he's promised eternal life according to the scriptures we learned as children.
Aunt Karen - My love is with you always, may you find solace with your family and friends to help support you in this difficult time. It's my hope you can find some peace and the heavy weight on your heart will be lifted with the love of those who are around you.
Nadja - You have all my love and affection. I've bore a burden similar to yours and there is nothing but time that can even began to heal the wound of a "Daddy's girl" who loses her first love (her father). Growing up you were like a sister to me and I wish I could share the burden of pain you feel with the loss of your dad so that it isn't so hard for you to bear. Lean on those around you who love you unconditionally and know that if there is anything I can do for you then you only have to let me know. I am there in spirit with you today, if not in body. Remember the good things and let the bad pale in comparison, life never turns out the way we expect it to, but find the inner strength I know you have and let us help you where we may.
To the rest of the family, I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Ric was a truly amazing, compassionate, and intelligent man. May the love you all share for each other and God help you through this difficult time. I'm sending each of you my condolences and love.
All my love,
Sandy Lacey (Lauback) & Family
