Richard Edward Mulder's Obituary
Richard E. Mulder Sr. age 90, passed away peacefully at The Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence on May 3, 2025. He was born to George and Lucille (Pohl) Mulder on March 31, 1935, in Muskegon, MI. Richard was a Muskegon High School graduate and went on to work at Sappi as a calendar stack operator. April 9, 1958, he married the love of his life, Joan W. Perinchief and spent 67 wonderful years together. He joined the U.S. Air Force where he proudly served his country from 3/27/58- 12/2/62. He loved hunting, trains, football, basketball, baseball and reading. He is survived in death by his wife, Joan Mulder; children: Robin (Mike) Kosheba, Roger (Kimm) Mulder, Richard Mulder Jr., Ralph (Karen) Mulder, Scott (Michelle) Mulder and Howard (Kathy) Usher; grandchildren: Angela (Ben) Anguiano; Robin (John) Moore; Melinda (Mike) Okerlund; Dana Mulder; Crystal Mulder; Chris Taskey; Carrie (Jamie) Courturier; Randy Mulder (Deceased); Brandon (Jes) Kosheba; Brittany (Ben) McMurray; Kyle (Amanda) Mulder; Korbin Mulder; Daniel Mulder; Andrew Mulder; Jenna Mulder; Julia Mulder; and many great grandchildren & great, great grandchildren; and sisters: Carol Kreuger; Marilyn Buckner;. He is preceded in death by his parents: George and Lucille Mulder; and Grandson Randy Mulder. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made out to Alzheimer’s Association.
