I have so many lovely memories of Rev Rehm. I heard of his passing only 3 hours ago, and am saddened to have missed his farewell service. He and I enjoyed diving deeply into theological discussions, especially just after 9-11. I remember the very first time I shook his hand. I told him he seemed a bit Jewish to me. He took a step back and laughed, acknowledging my recognition of similar faith. The rest is history as they say. I gifted him with a kipah, designed to reflect the cosmos, at his retirement celebration. It seemed most fitting for a minister of the greatness of I Am. His perceptions of God were always too large to be boxed in by mortal minds. A God boxed in by men, would be dead to men. Dick saw the Light of God in life and in salvation.
May Dick's name always be a blessing in the earth. May God rest his ever seeking, asking and knocking soul. And may God grant his family, Gods own peace, in the months to come.
Shalom and L'chaim dear friend, Cheryl Currier
