Richard Stillson's Obituary
Mr. Richard Stillson, age 83, of Free Soil, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at home. He was born March 8, 1936 in Grand Haven to Owen and Mable (Bray) Stillson. On June 30, 1962 he married Mary Ann Beebe.
Richard worked for Anderson Bolling and retired from Grand Haven Stamp Products. He had a passion for his garden and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, pulling the kids on his wagon and working on his tractor. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; nine children: Johnn (Paula) Stillson, Sue (Rodney) Jones, Jack (Pam) Stillson, Cindy (Russ) Culver, Scott (Stephanie) Stillson, Polly Stillson, Robin Bullard, Donald Stillson, and Richard Stillson; twenty grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; siblings, Barbara (Donald) Davis and Ronald (Diane) Stillson. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Corey Stillson; brothers, Raymond (his twin), Larry, Gordy, and Ken; sister, Peach Davis; brothers-in-law: John Beebe, Edward (Betty) Beebe, and Carl (Betty) Volz.
A visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at The VanZantwick Chapel (620 Washington Ave). Memorial contributions in memory of Richard may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association. Please sign the family’s online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com.
