Richard TenBrink's Obituary
Richard TenBrink of Grand Haven, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021. He was born to Simon and Cora (VanWyk) on July 24th 1930, in Zeeland Michigan. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War. Dick drove trucks for Michigan Express for 17 years and owned and operated Dick’s Landing for 50 years. Dick loved to fish and spent many years wintering in Florida. He is survived by his four sons: Thomas of Florida, Robert of Allendale, Todd of Allendale, and Dale (Shelley) of Fruitport, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine; brothers: Gradus, Ervie, Earl, Bill, Jack; sisters: Corenella (Molengraff), Grace (Shoemaker), Angie (Hudson), and grandson, Devin TenBrink.
A memorial service for Dick will be held Noon - 2:00 PM Friday, November 12, 2021, at the Charles A. Conklin American Legion Post 28 in Grand Haven. Military honors will take place at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Robinson Township Cemetery. The family is being served by The VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services.
