Richard J. Yedinak's Obituary
Richard J. Yedinak, age 64, of Grand Haven passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Heartwood Lodge Hospice Residence. He was born July 11, 1951 in Grand Haven to Richard and Theresa (Knue) Yedinak. On August 19, 1972 he married the former Sandra Gronevelt in Mt. Pleasant.
Richard was a member of St. Patrick-St. Anthony Catholic Church and worked for Engine Power Components for more than 40 years. He was a champion kite flyer, enjoyed reading and painting, but most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; three daughters: Emily (Ben) Hayes of Grand Rapids, Elizabeth Yedinak of Grand Haven, and Justine (Andrew) Liang of Holland; father, Richard R. Yedinak; four siblings: Jeannie (Steve) Heric, Phil (Winny) Yedinak, Joe Yedinak and Barb (Ken) Miller; father-in-law, Donald Gronevelt; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bob (Kim) Gronevelt, Bette Ann (Jan) Goins, Scott Gronevelt; several nieces and nephews; and special devoted cousins, Margaret (Ken) Michlitsch and Rita (Johnny) Brook. He was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Yedinak
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Catholic Church with Rev. Father William Langlois officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with a scripture service at 7:00 PM.
