Richard J. Musil's Obituary
Mr. Richard J. Musil, age 60, passed away Monday morning, November 6, 2006 in Muskegon. He was born October 9, 1946 to John and Janet Margaret (Falconer) Musil in Ludington, and lived in Scottville before moving to the Muskegon area in 1970. Mr. Musil was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, and had worked at Howmet Corporation for 35 years, retiring in 2005. He was also a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. He loved his family, and enjoyed being involved with different sporting events. On October 3, 1970 he married Marsha Refermat in Toledo, OH. SURVIVORS include his wife Marsha; 4 children, Tracy (Robert) Leclair of Parker, CO, Sandra (Erik) Pope of Fond du Lac, WI, Susan (Joseph) Van Oosterhout stationed with the Navy in Bahrain, Joseph Musil stationed with the Air Force in Mountain Home, ID; 2 sisters, Reta Lorenz of Muskegon, Judith Klei of Howell. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 sister, Janet Kokx. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated at St. Thomas Catholic Church at 11:00 AM Friday, with the Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, with military rites under the auspices of the Muskegon County Council of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. VISITATION at
