Richard J. "Dick" Hart's Obituary
Mr. Richard Joseph “Dick” Hart, age 58, passed away Sunday morning, January 24, 2010 at the Poppen Residence of Harbor Hospice. He was born October 21, 1951 in Muskegon to Barbee F. “Bob” and Josephine A. (Fakatty) Hart and lived in the area his entire life. Dick worked most of his life for office supply companies and retired from Indoff Office Supply as an independent sales representative for the West Michigan area. Dick was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #706 where he volunteered for a number of events through the years. SURVIVORS include 2 daughters, Jennifer (Kurt Kammeraad) Hart-Locke of Norton Shores and Lisa (Chad Davis) Hart of Muskegon; his fiancé and love of his life, Brenda Kordecki of Muskegon; Jenny and Lisa's sister, Stacey (Travis) Nadeau; 6 grandchildren, Haleigh and Brayden Locke, Corbin and Dominique Davis, MaKayla Chloe and Ryder Nadeau; 2 brothers, Tom (Karen) Hart of Spring Lake, David (Debbie) Hart of Muskegon; 1 sister, Maryanne Beardsley of Muskegon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 grandson, Jordan Locke, his parents, and his brother, the Rev. Fr. Robert A. Hart. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 10:00 AM Friday, January 29, 2010 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Anthony M. Pelak as celebrant. INTERMENT will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION with Dick’s family will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S. Harvey Street, (231) 798-1100. A Scripture Service will be held at 7:30 PM Thursday. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the Mass, 9-10 AM Friday at the church.
