Richard W. "Rich" Page's Obituary
Mr. Richard W. “Rich” Page, age 58, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, February 20, 2011. He was born December 19, 1952 in Muskegon to Warren and Francine (Oelberg) Page and married Cheryle Leach on August 5, 1978. Rich loved his family very much and his passion was working on his old trucks with his best friend, Ray Zok. He graduated from Mona Shores High School in 1971. Rich served in the U.S. Army from 1971 until 1974. He drove truck for Eagle Trucking of Muskegon LLC delivering asphalt from Asphalt Paving, Inc. and did maintenance on the dump trucks. Along with his wife of 32 years, Cheryle, he is also survived by 2 children, Nicholas (Malinda) Page, Alissa (Neil Suzor) Page; 2 grandchildren, Christopher and Courtney Page; his mother, Francine Page; his sister, Kathleen (Dennis) Robison; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Richard was preceded in death by his premature son, Richard Wayne Page, Jr., his father, Warren Page, his in-laws, Thurell “Ted” and Mary Leach, and his brother-in-law, Timothy Hartzell. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 with Pastor Rick South officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Walkerville, MI. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
