Mr. Rick Brent Cherney's Obituary
Mr. Rick Brent Cherney, age 53, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at his home. Rick was born February 2, 1959 to Frank and June (Chaney) Cherney II in Muskegon and was a lifelong resident of the area. On March 5, 1982 he married the former Vikki Love. He was employed as a mason and was an avid outdoorsman. Rick is SURVIVED by his loving wife of 30 years, Vikki and their children, Tara, Max and Jazzlyn; his parents, June and Jerry Hackey; his brothers, Frank Cherney III and Mark (Tina) Cherney. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Cherney II and his brother, Bruce. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church, 1568 W. Giles Rd., with Rev. Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. Share memories with Rick’s family at their on-line guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com.
