He was my best friend for many years. We worked in the same warehouse and had a bet going to see who would be the first to find a better job. He won that bet. I was going for my commercial pilots license and found out that someone was selling their airplane. Knowing That I could not afford the airplane by myself I called and asked if he would like to go for an airplane ride. I didn’t tell him that the airplane was for sale until after we got back. Then told him that I needed his help to buy it. That started his aviation career.
