Rick J. Neymeiyer's Obituary
Rick J. Neymeiyer, age 65, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 in Sparta, MI. He was born October 27, 1958 in Grant, MI to Edward and Esther (Westbrook) Neymeiyer. Rick served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves and worked as an over the road trucker for many years. He loved the outdoors, fishing, and playing cards. On November 9, 1976, he married Sally Ann Risner in Grand Rapids, MI and she survives him along with two sons: Michael (Vanessa Hurless) Neymeiyer of Middleville, MI and Jason Neymeiyer of Grand Rapids; three grandchildren: Joseph Lee (fiancée Katlyn Harig) Ramirez, Devin and Dakota Neymeiyer; great-granddaughter, Georgina Ann Ramirez; brother, Terry (Denise) Neymeiyer; two sisters: Judy (Ray) Richardson and Tammy Neymeiyer; and many nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his daughter, Della Autumn Neymeiyer in 2015; parents; two brothers: Tim and Ed Neymeiyer; and a nephew, Jeremy Scherder. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE for Rick will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 4, 2024 at the Ravenna Twp. Cemetery with Pastor Mark Neymeiyer officiating.
