Rick F. Kesteloot's Obituary
Mr. Ricky F. Kesteloot, age 53, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning, September 26, 2008. Rick was born in Muskegon to Charles and Shirley (Beauleaux) Kesteloot on January 13, 1955 and was a 1973 graduate of Muskegon H.S. where he was a standout athlete, starting at quarterback for the 1971 state championship Big Reds football team. He later went on to play football at, Olivet College where he received his Bachelors in Education. Rick continued on with his education, eventually receiving a Masters Degree from Western Michigan University and a Masters in Guidance Counseling from Central Michigan University. Mr. Kesteloot was a guidance counselor at Mona Shores High School and was the Girls J.V. Volleyball Coach. Coach Kesteloot also formerly coached girl’s varsity volleyball at Muskegon Catholic Central and North Muskegon High Schools, Girls J.V. Volleyball at Orchard View and A.A.U. Volleyball. He was also a former assistant football coach at Mona Shores, Fruitport and Orchard View Schools. He married Susan Czarneke Patrick on April 9, 2008 and was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He is survived by: two daughters, Allison M. Kesteloot of Indianapolis, IN and Molly L. Kesteloot serving in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Valdosta, GA; wife, Susan and her children, Ryan and Tyler Patrick; sister, Mary Bennett of Fruitport and former wife, Kay Kesteloot. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, Fr. Thomas G. Simons presiding. Visitation will be held at:
