Rickie W. Willson's Obituary
Mr. Rickie Willson, age 55, passed away Monday evening, November 3, 2008. He was born December 22, 1952 in Muskegon to Robert and Mabel (Hyatt) Willson and had been a life resident of the area. Mr. Willson was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a corrections officer for the Muskegon Correctional Facility for 25 years before his retirement in 2003. Mr. Willson loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, and also enjoyed wintering in Florida. On March 31, 1972 he married the former Diane M. Terrill in Muskegon and she survives him along with 2 daughters, Laura Willson of Tampa, FL, Lisa Willson of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Skye Larkin, D’Monte Willson, Starr Willson; 2 brothers, Robert (Phyllis) Willson, Terry (Janice) Willson both of Muskegon; sister, Linda (Jerry) Leafers of Newberry, MI; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Lakeside United Methodist Church with Rev. David Selleck officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS to The American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
