Rita Ann Morris' Obituary
Rita Ann Morris, age 79, passed away October 26, 2025. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 11, 1946, to Quinton and Rose Marie (Winters) Boyden. After high school, she went on to earn a cosmetology certificate. Later, she worked at McDonalds in Whitehall, as a manager, for over 24 years.
On July 23, 1966, Rita married the love of her life, Robert Morris. Together they spent 59 years making lasting memories. Rita will be remembered for saying what’s on her mind and her feistiness but also having a very kind and caring heart. She enjoyed needle pointing and loved to feed her animals.
Rita will be remembered by her husband, Robert; 2 children, Robert Morris and Ronda (Michael) Skinner; 2 grandchildren, Robby Morris and Derek Skinner; 1 brother, Ted Boyden; 1 sister, Joan (Dan) Christenson; and a nephew, Jason (Ruby) Boyden. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rick Boyden.
