Ms. Roben Lea Small's Obituary
Ms. Roben Lea Small, 83, passed away early Thursday morning, September 14, 2023, in Muskegon surrounded by family. She was born July 2, 1940, in Fruitport to William and Pauline (Batchelor) Eskew and lived all of her life in the Muskegon area. Roben worked as a bookkeeper for several companies before retiring from Supreme Machined Products. Roben enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, along with attending meetings at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses. Roben also enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, crocheting, and sewing. She is survived by her children, Raymond R. Small Jr. and Randy J.(Dawn) Small. 5 Grandchildren, Kyle, Kody(Jessi), Kayla(Kyle), Shelbi and Taylor. 2 Great Grandchildren, Remedi and Cooper. Her sisters, Sharon(Greg) Swanson, Tammy(Jim) Lambert, Kim(Mark) Brown and sister in-law Barbara Eskew. Many nieces, nephews and special friends. Also Feline Furry friend Misty Rose. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert “Bill” Eskew and David Eskew. A service to remember and celebrate her life will be held Saturday September 23, 2023, at 1 pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 360 Eric Ave. Norton Shores MI 49444. Contributions in memory of Ms. Small may be made to Heaven Can Wait , 1639 W Sherman Blvd, Norton Shores MI 49441. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
